Cheshire is one of the most visually rewarding parts of the UK to get married in. You’ve got the perfect mix of classic countryside, elegant manor houses, modern barns, lakeside venues, and that instantly recognisable Cheshire look.
These things create the atmosphere that makes films from this region stand out:
Soft countryside light that flatters skin tones naturally
Lakeside reflections at Sandhole Oak Barn
The clean, modern styling of venues like Colshaw Hall and Merrydale Manor
Woodland paths, open fields and rolling hills
Mock Tudor architecture that looks beautiful and timeless on camera
Golden-hour light that turns everything warm and cinematic
Cheshire gives you a lot to work with. My job is to capture the emotion and atmosphere that brings all of it together.

Read their story
A joyful, cinematic wedding film at the Renaissance Hall in Keltnam, blending elegant storytelling with a documentary touch.
Read their storyYou don’t want a stranger pointing cameras at you. You want someone who feels like a friend with a creative eye; someone who blends into your day, keeps you relaxed and brings out the emotion that makes your story feel real. Here’s what that looks like in practice:
I arrive around two hours before your ceremony
Enough time to capture atmosphere, details, natural interactions and the build-up with your closest people.
I film the story from start to finish, not the clock
I usually stay until around an hour after the first dance. If something meaningful is happening later, I stay. If not, I leave once your story feels complete. Your film determines the coverage, not the hours written on a sheet.
I give gentle prompts, not poses
Nothing forced. Nothing cringey.
A simple prompt like asking you to link arms and walk while trying to throw each other slightly off balance always creates real laughter, real emotion and natural connection.
I stay low-key and unobtrusive
You should feel like you’re spending the day with your favourite people, not performing for the camera.
I prioritise audio and multi-angle coverage
Most emotional moments rely on clean sound and proper angles. Vows and speeches hit harder when you can hear and see everything clearly.
This combination is what creates a film that feels lived-in, emotional and true rather than staged or formulaic.

Answers to questions couples often ask before they book.
Do you cover all of Cheshire?
Yes. I film at Sandhole Oak Barn, Delamere Manor, Colshaw Hall, Merrydale Manor, Styal Lodge, Pryors Hayes, Peckforton Castle and across the entire Cheshire region.A: Yes. Whether it’s a countryside barn near Ludlow, a riverside venue around Shrewsbury, or a family farm in the hills, I travel across Shropshire and the surrounding counties.
Can we meet before booking?
Absolutely. We can chat on video, meet locally, or plan everything by email. Whatever suits your schedule.A: No. I work documentary-first. I only step in if you genuinely need a little guidance or timing help — otherwise I capture things as they unfold naturally.
Do you use drones?
When the weather, airspace and venue allow, yes. I use drone footage sparingly and beautifully, never as filler.A: Sony cinema-focused bodies — and fast prime lenses. It keeps everything clean, cinematic, and great in low light.
When will we receive our highlight film?
You’ll get a teaser within a week, and the full film once it’s been crafted properly. Quality takes time but the wait is worth it.
Do you offer content creation too?
Yes. If you want raw-feeling moments for social media, I can capture that alongside the main film so you don’t need a separate creator.
